I need a rebuild kit for my rear and when I look it asks for 1st design or 2nd design. How do I know which design I have and I need a complete kit with shims, bearings, seals, crush nut etc. Any suggestions of where to get one? I found a Timken set on Rockauto but it isn't complete.

1st or 2nd design probably refers to a change to the yoke which necessitated a different pinion seal. Everything else should be the same.
Do a search in this 'gears and axle' forum for 'pinion seal',you should get results showing past questions/problems.
