Default Whining 10 bolt - Whats this part?

Been investigating my whining 10 Bolt and need to identify this part and where to source a replacement? I know its a Torsen diff but thats it

Not sure if i need the centre piece or the 8 smaller pieces or all of it?

Any advice?

Torsen 'parts' are not available, forum members have needed Torsen 'parts' since the Torsen started being used on our cars. Best to pick up a new unit,or used unit,or a broken unit that has the intact parts you need.

Did the end plate that holds those parts in break ?

Another thing you should know are the teeth shown in your pic are the reluctor wheel for a 3 channel (abs non tractional control) rear. You can use a 4 channel/tcs diff but you will need to transfer the reluctor wheel over to it as the 4 channels have the reluctors on each axle.

Thanks for the advice.. any good source for a new replacement unit?

Also none of those parts in the picture look broken to me but the loud whining when driving suggests otherwise.. We have already changed the other rear end parts and this is all thats left

I also decoded the part number on the Torsen website and found that it is dated September 2000. This is in a 2002 car. Does this suggest that it has been replaced before?

What they said. Auburn makes a nice cone clutch posi that's a direct drop in replacement.
