Default 9 inch rear ends

does anyone have any knowledge on the ,are they loud like the 12 bolts are they a direct bolt in or do i need to cange /cut weld stuff,will it fit a stock driveshaft-the u joint,any info would be great im ordering one soon and am short on funds so any additional money that i have to spend i would love to know about it before hand,thank you in advance

They bolt right in. You will need a couple 3" HD muffler clamps for the swaybar and a 447 u-joint since I'm pretty sure most will come with a 1350 yoke. Other then some gear oil and some wire ties its pretty much a direct swap. You may want to make a bracket for the brake hose bracket to mount to and you will have to take the axles to a shop with a press to put the bearings on using your stock backing plates/caliper mounts.

Thats about it..

I also forgot you will need to buy some 3/8 fine threaded nuts and a tube of silicone. Figure ~125.00 max in little BS + whatever it costs to get the bearings pressed on.

Don't forget the massive messaging of the floor pan if you run an aftermarket torque arm..It wasn't as direct as my Strange was.

installed my 9" a few weeks ago and much quieter than the 10-bolt.
You can feel it having less play, and much more strong feeling (tight).
The reason I went with 9" was because I wanted a great diff for cornering and they are not available for 12-bolts... something "a la T2R"
