what gears for 33'' tall tire
im trying to figure out a good gear to go with in the project...and didnt know if anyone else was running a 33'' tall tire...my set up is ls1 w/heads, cam, supercharged, and spray 4l60e tranny 4500 converter in a back halfed 67 camaro with 33x21.5x15 back tires the converter is a lock up so was leaning towards 4.88-5.13 due to how tall the tires are and its still a lock up converter so will be 1 to 1 in overdrive but open to suggestions..also i have another set of 4.11 gears for long trips these will be for around town and at the track

For best track performance you need to size the gear to put you across the finish line at approx. 10% over peak power RPM, but without over-revving the engine.
Example if it makes peak power at 6000, you want to cross the finish line at approx. 6600... as long as you can safely rev that high.
This is your starting point & can be fine tuned through trail & error for best track performance. Real world results are the only way to best know for sure.
Have you ever had it at the track?
What MPH does it cross the finish line?
