I assume you mean 2.73 or 3.23

Look on the driver side door

GU2 = 2.73
GU5 = 3.23

No bad per se, just not as fun as 3.23s. Look at the bright side, you should be getting killer gas mileage!!

Lol, is it worth swapping to 3.23s? Will doing so scavange streetibility and throttle response?

I have plans for LTs, ORY, T/B and U/D pully in the near future to add to my SLP LM and SLP LID.

Nah, not worth it at all. If you do decide on gears, go with 3.42s or 3.73s!

A converter can really wake up the 2.73's, but I will give you my opinion on switching to 3.73's on thursday

get a converter BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get a very Low stall with a high STR. a Yank 3.0 is a great converter for a 2.73. I had a ST3500 with my 2.73 but it was very very loose to the point of unbearable. I know have a 3.70 with a SS3800E that acts 100% better.

Upon closer inspection the Yank 3.0 isn't made anymore, try a SS3600 that would probably be tolerable.

one thing really good things about the 2.73s is on the street. for street racing with street tires, a 2.73 auto is the best thing you can have for traction.

If you are worried about performacne go with the torque converter....

I picked up a full second in the 1/4 mile when gonig from stock to my 3200 stall with the 2.73 gears...
