Default Spare 10bolt options

I have a 2000 T/A with heads/cam+spray that i've been wanting to track for some time now. Before i do so, i want to have a spare 10 bolt for minimum downtime. They have 2 94 camaros in my local junk yard, so i was wondering if i find a 3-channel 10 bolt from one of them, if it will be a sraight swap if/when mine blows..(it already had happened before) i have the 3 channel no abs ver.. thanks guys

All 4th gens 10 bolts are basically the same. What's not will swap over. However, most non-V8 cars did not get posi-trac and I don't know what gears so it would be hit or miss there depending on what each v6 car (assuming these are v-6s) was optioned with. But yes they fit if thats what your asking, however the only thing guaranteed to be useful is the housing and thats the least likely thing to get damaged. What if you snag a rear end with no posi and a 3.07 gear and drum brakes. What good is this going to do you?
