8.5 10 bolt, rear disc brakes I have a 8.5 out of a 79 Camaro and a friend said I could use later model Camaro rear disc. He said you just have to space the caliper bracket out to center it on the rotor. Has anyone done this?

Yep, I did.In my case, I used three 1/16 washers on each of the four bolts holding the backing plates. Your measurements may vary. Check my build thread: "Putting a 2nd gen on a diet and making it fun at the same time"
