Finally got the drive train out and here is the carnage....

Apparently I didn't just crack the diff case, I split the diff all the way around LOL. Too bad I broke part of the trans tail housing...

This must have been a dead hook launch. Nice. You might think about gun drilled axels. Most cracks begin in the middle of a solid shaft. That's why cranks are drilled in the mains and rod throws. Not to mention drilled axels. Solid shafts are never the strongest design.

Broke a spinal with the t tops off speesshifting into 2nd...The wheel spun over my head and down the street at about 60 mph spinning brake fluid into my hair.lol. Vetts are so much fun!

wasn't getting much for times that day, not sure why. The way the car was my times were roughly 12.4 @120, 2.1 60', 88mph @ 1/8.

wasn't an issue about the number of passes, the junction between the diff and trans is a weak spot that didn't like it when the drive train shook. I will be putting in a brace that reinforces that area so it won't happen again. Although I am sure I will break the diff again down the road with the power I am looking at when I get it back on the road.

Swapping my LS6 heads, LS1 intake/tb for CNC LS3 heads, LS3 intake, LS2 tb, raising the compression to 11.5:1, adding meth, and possibly swapping out my LG G5X3 cam for something larger. I will also be putting in a nitrous system with a 2 stage plate. 1 side will be nitrous/fuel, the other side will be meth. Shooting for 550-575 rwhp on motor + meth, and spraying 100-200 on top of it. I want to run 10.5 on motor + meth, and 9.8 on the bottle.

at that time it was only 410rwhp but the clutch was slipping. I honestly think it was more because of how she ran at the track. I was putting down 12.4@120 with 2.2 60', picking up about 30mph on the back half, launching at idle, and not getting WOT until right before I hit 3rd (due to traction issues)....

While I have it apart it is getting CNC LS3 heads, LS3 intake, LS2 throttle body, upgraded fuel system, meth injection, increased compression (11:1 to 11.5:1). I will also be putting on the ECS trans/diff brace to go with the Hinson Supercars diff mount.
