My mods and a 150 shot, built 4L80E w/transgo HD2, 3200 stall,(used to be a T56 car) 3.42's and 28" M/T drag slicks with a 10 bolt. Car is making 500 rwhp on the shot (est) Made over 100 passes so far (most on a 100 shot). About 20 since the auto swap and no problems with the 150 shot. 1.59 60ft consistently.
Car is a DD too. No problems yet.

However, I shoot about a car out instead of right off the hit.

Like everyone else though........I'm saving for a 9" because it's gonna break eventually. Hell, it could break putting it in gear one day.

That 10 bolt of yours have a girdle on it, or maybe a solid pinion spacer or is it factory stock?
Nice car, btw.

It does have a pinion spacer and we took the rear end apart and changed the clutches, bearings and set up the differential when I bought it 25,000 miles ago.

True. I've had 3.73 in my car since 2006 and still going strong. Now if you are a weekend warrior who has to be at the track all the time, it will break. But if you are more of the every once in while Friday night street racer like myself, it will last you a long time without any problems if it's set-up right.
