Default should i do a girdle or no

just wondering if its worth the extra money to get the TA girdle for my car or should i not bother. sometimes i get on it hard on the street and get to the track a couple of times a year if that. so should i get one or no? also is the stock rear end gasket reusable? can i take it off and check out the guts in the rear and put some sealer on it and slap it back on? let me know guys, thanks

From what I understand it is best to get a new gasket to avoid leaks. A rear end girdle won't hurt and as they say every little bit helps. When I got my gears installed they said something to the beat that it will help to reduce gear shudder

No, the gasket isn't re-usable. When you go buy one at Autozone or whatever local auto parts store, you'll probably have to ask for the gasket on a '98 or '99 since for some weird reason, they show no gasket for the '00 cars.
