Default does ABS actually work with a 12 bolt? Please come in and tell us...

I wonder of you guys with 3 and 4 channel ABS on your 12 bolts with posi - does the anti lock still feel like it did with the 10 bolt? Will it bring you to a controlled stop if you hit the brakes in sand or whatever? No skidding still?
I'm wondering if I should be worried about retaining the ABS when I buy the 12 bolt. Please tell me how they feel...

Feels pretty much the same to me! Had to slam on my brakes on the way out to the track this past weekend (almost ran over a couple of Canadian geese that decided to stand in the middle of the highway) and the ABS came on as it should have.

My ABS worked as normal with the 12 bolt. I eliminated it and the TCS with the 9" though, dont miss it at all..

I have the 4 channel setup on my 12 bolt. Works the same as it did on my 10 bolt.

Question abs & 4channel tcs question on 9" rear

I read somewhere that you can't have abs or tcs on a 9" rear. Right/wrong?

I believe it's only the abs 3 channel you can't have on the rear. The ABS/TCS 4-channel system uses reluctor rings on the axles which I believe can be pressed on and used.
