Racing gear ratio help needed
Help me choose the best ratio for my combo.
I have a 2002 WS6 Switching to TH400 (stock ratio 2.48 first)
9" Ford housing, LS3 on a 250 hit for the power. weight of the car is unknown due to it getting lighter every week. If Its not needed to drive the car it got tossed+tubular everything. Running X275 radials on the car and converter will stay 34-3600 new stall.
What gears should I be looking at? (keep in mind I still drive the car on the road a few times a year) I was thinking 3.70 or possibly 3.50 ratio. Kind of leaning towards the 3.50 personally. Please don't bring up the racing calculator, as Im concerned how it will act real world. Thanks!
