Question about rear end install?

Question about rear end install? I am having a new 12 bolt installed next week and I was wondering a couple of things before I did everything. First off, the guy installing it wants $500 to install the rear end, clutch, flywheel, slave and master cylinder. Is this a good price? Next I am debating on whether having the guy who is installing the rear end open it up and look at it for an extra $200 so he will warranty the setup? Moser only warranties the axels if they break but nothing else. He will warranty the setup, meaning if something tears up due to it being setup wrong he will cover it later. Appreciate the advice.
I think 500 for a clutch AND rear is pretty good. I paid 400 for the clutch (w/o doing hydraulics), and 400 for the rear.
IMHO, if he knows how to check and set up gears, I'd pay 200 for him to crack the cover and make sure the depth and backlash are all correct. Moser's gear setup can be very hit or miss. This is why you see alot of people complaining about excessive whining. If the gears are set up correctly by someone who knows what they are doing, then they should be fairly quiet. So to me, the extra 200 is worth it, unless you don't mind having your rear sign the high notes with Freddie Mercury.

that price is fair for the labor.
if the rearend is brand new ZERO miles I'd say its worth letting him go into it so that it'll be warrantied. If its a used rearend then no, because the gear will have its pattern worn into it and its too late to make it quiet.
i agree with moser being hit or miss on their setups.

Do you guys not have private installers in your area? i do clutch, slave and master for $150. and install a rear end for $100. but i don't have the right equipment to check the gears.Theres plenty of guys like me here in texas but i guess not alot in your states huh?
