Default New 3.73s or converter?

What would provide better initial throttle response, new 3.73s or a converter. I only have enough dough to do one first. Then it will be a while before I do the other. Opinion?

Do the converter first.
You'll gain alot more with a converter than a gear.

I asked the same question once, so to save you some time, everybody and their mother on this site is going to tell you to go for the converter. lol I just wish I could get a new TC for the same price I could get new gears.

Hey Octane, I see w/ your sig, that your setup is totally streetable. I can only assume you're not one of the race track or die types. How do you like your 3200 TC? I want to get one, but by priority is to keep it friendly to drive. Thoughts? I always hear people saying go bigger, but I drive this car to work everyday. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

my 98 Z28 with the TCI SSF 3500 and 3.42's is my daily driver on a 50 mile commute. Remember once the converter locks up at highway speed it's just like stock. But around town it's a WHOLE lot more fun. Took me a week or so to get used to it, and after that I had to buy Nittos. Do it, you won't regret it. Gears are nice but with the right converter, they are unnececessary.

Oh yeah, my car is daily driven as long as there's no snow on the ground. I hit the track a dozen or so times per year, but my main concern is driveability.
But I wanna go fast too.
The Vig3200 is highly streetable, even in a car like mine with 2.73 gears.
