but the GM 8.5 10 bolt does not have the torque arm mounts either.

you can build a 8.8 or 12 bolt for the same price as a 8.5 10 bolt, as they're not cheap parts either.

I ran a 1.8 60ft with a 100 shot, took half of the teeth off of my axle and chewed a pinion gear with 4.10's in a 10 bolt. GO 12 Bolt. It's an expensive upgrade but after repairing your 10 bolt after every track day SUCKS!!

what about a 10 bolt in a h/c, a4, with a 3800 stall, dr, and 3.73 or 4.10's...would it handle it?

A stall will go lighter on the 10-bolt than a 6 spd. But either way you go, it will break at some point.

I didn't know valley girls drove hard enough to break rear ends haha

used 10 bolt would be the most cost effective to just get it up and running
