Question 7.5 & 7.625 ring gears whats the deal

Does anyone know the difference? I noticed that on LMperformanc's web site that the rear carrier cover with the girdle is interchangable between the 7.5 and 7.625 10 bolt rear ends. Can I put a 7.625 ring gear and pinion in my 99 WS6 using the 7.5 carrier? Are they referring to an S-10 7.625 rear end? The reason I ask is because I have a good set of 4.10 7.625rg gears from a 98 S-10 and would love to put them in my WS6. Please check this out and let me know if I understand this right. Thanks

Hummer

Your stock WS-6 rear is a 7.625 model. Do the swap. Just remember, it's probably going to blow-up anyway. Consider saving up for a good 12 bolt rear.
