Huge sound "BANG" from rearend

Huge sound "BANG" from rearend Last night , I was headed home and I was probably going about 25mph and hammered my truck. Next, I hear a huge noise that came from the rearend of the truck"BANG". When this happen, it felt like someone ran into the back of my truck. I was only about one mile from home, so I just slowed down and limped it back. But as I was going around a turn, I could feel the rearend making noises on none side. Each time I heard a popping sound I also felt a jerk in the rearend. I have not had a chance to take off the cover and look at it yet, but I will this afternoon.
Any suggestions on what happen and what this may cost me to fix it.
What really sucks is that I was going to sell the truck TODAY, but had to just run it one more time and look what happen.
Oh, I also have 4.56 gears in it and run 33inch SuperSwampers.
