Replacing Axle

What all do I need when I change one of my axles? I know I need fluid for the rearend, but do I need any kind of gaskets or seals?

I changed mine yesterday. Take off the wheel....brakes...abs/tcs sensor..rear cover....and c-clip. if you don't take off the abs/tcs sensor, the axle won't slide in far enuff to get the c-clip off
