Default 4.10's or stick with the 3.42's?

You can see my mods in my signature, basically all the normal boltons. I am thinking about putting 4.10's in my stock 10 bolt rear but dont know if it will hold. I launch this puppy at 5 grand on my MT ET streets so you know the rear is getting worked. Im going to do a cam swap this summer so that will put me at around 400 horse. am i crazy to put 4.10s in or should i do 3.73s or not even bother swapping the bastards. thanks in advance

4.10s with the M6 are just meant to be! The problem is...when lowering the gear in the 10 bolt, the 10 bolt becomes even weaker then originally with the OEM 3.42 gears. I wouldn't even waste my money or time swapping in 3.73s. I would get a 12 bolt with 4.10s, 4.30s, or 4.56s instead of keeping the 10 bolt.

You're lucky the 10 bolt hasn't snapped yet with those 5k launches and ET streets. I would just save for the 12 bolt- 9 inch.

Yea the only reason the 10 bolt is holding up is probably because I'm a mile higher than everybody else here in Colorado so I dont put down sh** for power.
