Default Help me identify this rear end??

Seller claims that it came from a 2000 WS6 with 20,000 miles. Looks like it also has a few aftermarket parts on it as well. My rear end currently has 150,000 miles on it, and he only wants $350 for it. Is it worth it or am I better off with something else. I know the 10 bolt is never the best solution, but I do not really drag the car. Opinions are very much appreciated!

The owner said it was from a 2000 WS6 with a 6 speed manual. I have the exact same car (2000 WS6 M6) with a 150,000 miles that I am thinking about replacing it with.

Is it worth it,difficult to answer. 150,000 miles, what's wrong with yours ?
direct swap, don't even need to open any brake lines.

Nothing wrong with mine other than having more miles and leaking a few times from the cover plate after I resealed it. It actually started again so I am going to have to take it off again...

If yours is not howling then Id vote to keep it. My last f-body 10 bolt had 23x,xxx making 450rwhp and was still dead silent. I never had dr's or slicks on it but I did race with nitto 555 315/35/17's so traction was not totally non existent.

since the cover needs to come off yours again, get an aluminum one, a little stronger, should cure your leaking problems too.

Does your car have traction control, if it does you'll lose it by installing this rear end

ok if you want to keep the traction control "asr switch" you'll need to install the axles from your vehicle and backing plates on that rear end..
