Aluminun driveshaft wall thickness?

Aluminun driveshaft wall thickness? Any know how thick the driveshaft tubing is? I just noticed that I've some serious cuts and gouges in my ds and I am worried about it letting loose. I don't see any perforations but some of the cuts are a good 1/16"+. Scary

If you have gouges that are close to 1 /16", I'd replace it. I just measured mine and I got just about 1/16" in depth. So those must be REAL close to breaking through.

Ive seen im wraped around about 3 times before they snapped, broke at the factory weld on the end, shattered like glass, and desetegrated. Theyre no thicker than an 1/8th of an inch.
