I'm sure some people have them, but after adding a few options it's like $2500-2600, I'd rather go for a more proven rear at that point. Watch classifieds for a 12 bolt or s60. There are a few people who have built their own for absurdly cheap, that is where the savings are.

The 8.8 is a great rear end but as soon as you put a torque arm on it you get all the same downfalls any other stamped housing has. Torque arm bracket to floor pan contact, possible gear noise from case flex, modifying most company's torque arm bracket to fit. The worst is the fact that people are trusting welds on material that isn't meant to be welded on.
These are all the things that don't get discussed that should.
