The folks at Midwest chassis advised me to call Mark Williams and while they do not make a long register, ha said to get him the measurements of the wheel holes and he will get me a solution. Thanks Midwest. And I hope I will be thanking Mark Williams. Jason over there seems eager to help. I will definitely update.

Side note: Racestar side stepped the question and said I could just tighten the wheel down and it would "pretty much" center the wheel and I should not have a problem. They said no one else has this issue. After that they said they were looking at making adapters.....which lie is it?

Strange can manufacture a custom axle with the correct spline, pitch angle, and register. It is not a shelf axle, hence the reason they said no originally.

I am going to try one more time before I bite the bullet and buy axles. The hole in the Racestar wheels is .754" ID. A piece of 3/4" tubing slips in perfect. I am having the inside of the tubing machined out to .662 so the shank on the lug nuts will slip inside. This basically will make the holes what Racestar should have drilled them to in the first place. I will keep y'all posted.

On a last post I would like to thank Moser for nothing along with Racestar wheels. It's funny. The people at Mcgard lugnuts, Midwest Chassis, and Mark Williams axles were extremely helpful though they had nothing to do with the issue at hand and just wanted to help me make sure I got my issue solved. I do a lot of business in this LS stuff and will keep them on my list. Thanks guys

Bumping this back up for a guy that is inquiring. Also, I just bought a 9" with Moser axles becasue I got it cheap enough to replace the axles and it was set up by Pyle Brothers in Baytown TX so si know assembly is right on. It has a Strange aluminum center piece.

Default Years later same problem.

Had some moser axles custom made with 66.9mm hub registers and they don't engage the wheels. Anyone find a better solution to fixing it besides having new ones made? I have a tig, can I tig some slugs on if I preheat? This sucks dropping that coin only to find this out later.

I actually had it fixed by Dutchman Axles. It cost $133 plus shipping. Superb quality work from those guys, highly recommend.

Here's her on her new axles (and wheels)
