I ordered a new 12 bolt with a spool. The Strange rep said that with a spool the ABS/TCS will not be functional, and that they will not use the rings on the axle. I plan on calling him back to clarify- but does this sound right or am I missing something?

 

I've seen 4 channel ABS/TCS spool rears. I don't think they work as well as factory because the 2 axles are solid without any slip at all. I'd call back.

 

I have heard of some people having problems with a spool and 4 channel abs/tcs. The computer compares the speed of all four wheels and if the two rear turn at the same speed, which they always will with a spool, and the front wheel's speed varies going around a sharp corner it may freak the ABS out since it will think the car is skidding. Just a guess..
