For me the novelty of having a full spool on the street is no longer there. This is what I got from my wife for my Birthday yesterday Detroit Truetrac Looks like ill be updating my sig...lol

I like the TrueTrac. I've run both it and a spool in my 12 bolt. So far my spool has been wonderful though, what was it that you didn't like??
For me, mainly it was slow turning and tire scrubbing. My car isn't a DD but I do drive it a lot during the summer. Plus my driveway has a slight incline to it and there have been a couple of times I've had to move my car out of the garage for a few hours and you have to make 100% sure it is completely free of ice and snow or else she is not moving back into the garage. Not to mention I am a Road Race Fanatic who does like the occasional drag race I would like for my car to perform for both things when I take her to the track.

Yes, the ONLY road race cars in the world which use spools (mandated by the rules, actually, surprisingly enough!) are the Aussie V-8 Supercar series cars, and they now use independent rear suspensions, and used cambered axle tubes when they were solid axles.
Yeah, I believe they run up to 7 degrees negative camber in the rear to get those cars to turn with a spool. Mandated by rules to cut costs as bigger budget teams had better diffs that offered a major performance advantage.
