Default at what point do you need a new rearend..

i was just wondering becuase my car is starting to get alot more power pretty soon... im fixin to get a bigger stall conv. heads. and i just bought the intake manifold... should i be gettin a rear end pretty soon? i dont have a lot of money.. so i dont want to spend it on a 12 bolt unless i absolutly need it... i have an A4 so i have been told they can take a lot more power on the stock 10 bolt...

depends if you go to the track often or not.12bolt would be good for an a4.still have the stocker with a t/a cover on mine and holding up so far.if it blows up I would stick a 12bolt in there.

As soon as the car rolled off the assembly line. lol
I would think with a A4 you will be ok for a while but i would start look for one. If its a M6 get one asap lol.

As soon as it rolls of the dealers lot
In all honesty though with an auto car you have a MUCH better chance of keeping the 10 bolt together. i'm still running my 10 bolt (well actually I had a 9'' under the car for a bit, but now back to the 10 bolt for a bit), and I beat the living hell out of it.
