tcs/abs question

Default tcs/abs question

can you tell from looking at the plug on top of the moser 12 bolt if it has abs and /or tcs . I know it has at least abs but not sure of tcs. anyway of knowing without taking it apart?

Not exactly sure what you are asking, 3 channel (ABS only) has the sensor on the top + a reluctor gear welded to the case next to the ring gear. A 4 channel (abs/tcs) rear has a sensor and reluctor on each axle.

can you see the "sensor" on the axle tubes from the exterior for the tcs setup?

yeah, if you have traction control, you will have 2 sensors, one at each end of the housing. If you have ABS only, you will have one sensor at the top of the pumkin. You should be able to see all of this from out side with out taking it apart.

thanks you - I just wasn't sure if the tcs was internal
