9" question.......
I will soon be ordering a 9" housing from moser for my '00 T/A. I am planning on ordering the diff, gears and case from somewhere else. So I have a couple questions if anyone can answer them.
Moser or strange case?
Aluminum or N Iron?
Larger bearings for 35 spline Locker? yes no?
I guess I just need some info on what would be the best setup for the center.
Thanks

IMO and what I run, Strange Nodular Iron Case (Broke the Moser), With Moser 33 Spline Axles (I dont like the strange axles, I havent had good luck with them in the past), and I would do the larger bearings.
I would only run Alum if it is a drag only car, and if I was to run Aluminum I would run a Bolt Through Case, like a Mark Williams Unit.
And not on your list, I would be sure to get a Billet Pinion Support because that part in a 9" takes alot of abuse.

You don't have a bearing choice with 35 spline and larger axles. It's the 3.250 bearing. I've tried several different cases. Iron is heavy, that's all I'm going to say. I ran a Strange aluminum case before, with 450rwhp and slicks, cutting 1.5 short times, and tons of street driving. Guess what, no problems. Now, I run a Moser aluminum center, 35 spline axles and spool, billet aluminum daytona style pinion support, aluminum yoke, lightened gears.
