Default How much work is needed to fit a narrowed rear 4 inches per side?

Basically I have a Moser 12 bolt stock length right now. I am going to be getting some new rims and I want to do the narrowed rear on it and someone on here is willing to trade his Moser 9 inch narrowed 4 inches per side for my stock length rear.

What would I need other than 3.5 back spacing to get this to fit? How much of a pain in the *** would I be getting myself into?

The rule of thumb with a Moser rear is anything past three inches narrower per side would get into the suspension having to be modified. Bob

Thanks for the reply Bob. I'm thinking it is going to be too much work to make it fit.

You're welcome. Yes, it would take a lot of work. Bob

The 4.0 off each side will fit in the car, but you will most likely have clearance issues with the e-brake cable to the LCA bracket on the Moser 9".

We do rearends at 3.5 to 5.0 off each side all the time. You just need the right combination of bracket setup. A MWC 9" rear even comes with the e-brake cable brackets and brake hose mounts relocated and installed when you get it from us.
