Default 12 bolt axle help

Trying to replace my axle seal in my 12 bolt moser with an eaton posi. I went to remove the c clips and there doesn't appear to be any and the axle will not slide in or out. What's to protocol for removing the axle on these types of rear endes and posis?

Thanks!

If no C-clips then the retaining hardware is on the outer end of the axle/backing plate. Should be a plate with 4-bolts that holds the axles in place.

Just so you know, Stock style C-clip axles won't hold the axle in if it should break, You have an improved rearend that eliminates that problem. Very desirable upgrade.
