Default Are Ring bolts Torque to Yield?

Hey guys. Does anyone know if ring gear bolts are torque to Yield. I bolted up my new ring gear with new motive bolts and locktite. I removed them to check carrier runout. I removed them with propane torch and impact. just wondering if I need news ones or if I can reuse either the motives or the gm originals. The gm ones were not locktited on and they have larger heads which I like too.

I've been re-using ring gear bolts since the 60s',unless the threads or head don't look right I don't hesitate to re-use them. 7.5/7.625/8.5/8.6 are left hand,8.2/8.8 are right hand.

Head size doesnt matter cause thats not what carries the load of the gear.

They are, but most reuse them anyways. If it's not a drag car you will probably be fine.

I feel better using the old bolts knowing others haven't had an issue doing so. Thanks fellas
