Default Time for Gears.

So I have a 2000 z28. Its a daily car.
Originally LS1, now LQ4 off a 06 GMC 2500 HD.
Gears on the car are stock 2 series 2.73s so im looking to wake up the car a little bit.
Someone recommended me AAM gears. Someone sent me a link where I could get them but they are under pre order only and it didnt say if they were for 2 or 3 series. Anyone else know where I can possibly get them elsewhere? Reason Im leaning towards AAM is because I dont want to get annoyed by the whine stories that ive read a few have had with Motive or Richmond. Thank you for your time.

AAM shows only 3.42,3.73,4.10 which would have been for 3 series carrier as OEM. Because of your 2 series carrier(2.73s') I think you're going to have to go aftermarket brand in order to get a 'thick' set for the 2 series carrier.
What is the 'link' where you found them ?

i've heard motive gears are the quietest so checkout G875342X (3.42's for series 2 carrier) & R7-5GRLMKT ring & pin install kit w/ timken bearings. ps any gear can whine if not setup / shimmed properly

I was afraid to post a link since they are not a sponsor here or whatever. I can message you the link.

I see. For as much as I like the feel of 3.42s I think 3.73s would be fun.
