You can also check for true by placing the vehicle on stands and getting someone to run it in gear to speed and literally look at it from below. Be VERY sure it is safely on stands but if the shaft is out of whack you can usually see it wobble or using a magic marker sloooooowly and carefully lean the tip into the shaft to verify its running concentric.
My local shaft shop doesnt use weights only spins and trues them with heat and cool. Super smooth, everytime

Tires/wheels are the exact same config as prior to 80e swap? Nothing else changed? obviously driveshaft is different or shorter with different yoke so thats where im thinking your problem is.
