Identify this 12 bolt stuff please
Identify this 12 bolt stuff please Bought a 4th gen to part out and it came with this 12 bolt. Guy didnt know much about the car but thought it was a moser.
We opened it up last night to find sparkly gear fluid that would make a stripper proud.
33 spline axles
My question is what is it and whats it worth on the classifieds?

That's a Strange 12-Bolt. I can tell by the Part number on the end of the axles, and the the bearing caps look familiar to me. I believe the posi unit is an Eaton, it's looks like the same one my car has. I also noticed the part number on the ring gear. I believe it's a US Gear (thin)3.73 made for a series-4 carrier. It's also the same gear I have in my car. Knowing nothing about it, I'd say you could start around $2,000 for it, and get $1,500 if you want a quick sale.
