Rear End Options

Rear End Options Good Day,
I'm new in the world of F-Bodys, (I have an 87 GN), but anyway I'm trying to do a bit of research on rear ends. From what I've seen so far the options are very limited, 1. Keep the stock one and pray. 2. Shell out $1900 for a Moser. 3. Shell out even more for a Strange. Isn't there another option? Even back in the old days we would pull the rear end out of a SS chevelle and put it into a Cutlass, or something. Is there any rear end that can be picked up cheap, then modified to fit the F-Body?

i cant beleive someone hasnt told you to use the search button... there are guys on here that put together their own rears, but im not that car savy to do something like that. they use 8.8" and just recently i saw someone talking about doing it with a 8.5".
