Default 3 channel car with 4 channel rear QUESTION!

I know this has been discussed before but I just need a few things cleared up first

1. Can I simply swap over the 4 channel rear into the 3 channel car and it not effect drivability? Like I'll get the (ABS) light but that's all?

2. If I wanted to convert could I just take the lsd 4 channel diff and put it in the open 3 channel diff pumpkin and then have 3 channel lsd rear?

3. Can I just swap the brake lines from the 3 channel rear over to the 4 channel rear?

Need more specifics,as what year is the car ?,what year is the replacement rear from ?,are the gear ratios the same ?
1) Yes,depending on answers from above,should be very driveable,mechanically.
2) No,you need to remove the 3 channel reluctor ring and put it on the 4 channel carrier/differential.
3) Yes.

3) Yes.
An 01 3 channel open diff with 3.42 gears
And an 01 4 channel lsd diff with 3.42 gears
Exactly the same aside from the open and limited slip and abs vs abs/tcs

Looking at your past threads/posts(one of the threads I responded to),a V6 3 channel ABS only system.
The 01 posi differential would be Torsen. To keep the ABS functioning, you'd have to pull the reluctor ring off the existing in car carrier and install it on the Torsen carrier OR acquire a 3 series reluctor ring(GM 26036755) and install that.

Ah thanks man. Idk if I want to try and keep abs or not. I rarely catch myself shoving my foot into the brake pedal so I doubt I would need it.

Without ABS, you'd have the standard braking system of before ABS systems started on cars.
