Default axle help

Guys,

Was going to pull the axles on the bird and ran into a problem, seems I don't have the center pin diff where the c clips fall out when the pin is pulled, I have this between the axles and I cant get the clips off. Any help I searched the forum and can find any info on this diff.and how to get the clips off.

Is this a ten bolt from the 4th gen fbody? Once you've removed the pin and pull that out you should be able to rotate the axles and the clips sometimes will fall out into the gear oil inside the differential. You sometimes have to push in and pull on the axles to free them but once removed you can retrieve them with a magnet..

There is a groove in the end of those axles where the c clips ride and pushing in on the axle will free them up to fall out.

Got the clips out, had to remove the ABS wheel sensor so the axle would move in and let the clips fall off.
