Gear help!!!! 85 Gbody 3500lbs with me in it
LQ9 (H.C.I) 236/246 110lsa
4l80e with shift kit (hd2)
4000 yank converter
Fox rearend gears (Undecided)
So I'm looking for which gear would be good for my street/strip build mostly street. Looking to go with 3.73s or 4.10s thanks for the feed back in advance. P.S and the car is fuel injected if that helps any.

Spend some time on a gear ratio calculator,, Many on line,, put in your tire sizes trans ratios and then cycle through the rpm's in the calc..
its not a 100% answer but each combination will be different.. By a little , but it will show what won't work at all and narrow your choices..
