gearing up is great until you dont have enough to make a full pass down a 1/4 mile strip in 3rd gear

If you ever decide that a torque convertor should be the next step, don't go 'cheap'. Inexpensive convertors have a lot of 'slip' to them and you'd be losing the 'tightness' of your OEM 1800 comvertor. Looseness/slippage creates transmission fluid heat and 3rd & 4th gear WOT isn't what it should be because of that looseness.
Now that you've got 4.10s, how's the traction ?
not disappointed with traction at all it still hooks up good on most pavement ( some better than others ) it just seems to carry itself through the gears a little quicker and even feels like it shifts a little firmer imho.

Get yourself a set of bolt-in LCA relocation brackets to help 'plant' the tires. Bolt-in, no welding. Relatively easy to install, rearward LCA bolt and shock lower bolt, and some pushing/pulling to line up for bolt insertion.

I have a set I'm willing to sell, hit me up if you're interested. Mine were from UMI and still in really good shape.

That's the ticket, go to a 3600 2.5 STR converter Yank or Vigilante, and your vehicle (with the stock 3.23:1 gears) will run like a raped ape before lockup.

More gear just means more traction issues in first. If you are bone stock, it might work. But even with drag radials, first gear was worthless with 3.73s and a low STR converter on the street. The higher gear helps with a "loose" converter in that it won't be as sloppy feeling. But then you have other issues to contend with.

I've moved to a 3.08 and a higher STR converter so it's still better around town and much better at 80 on the interstate (was seeing 2800 with a 26" tire--now it's like 2200). It's much more reasonable and less insane loud. And traction is better around town as well.

I respectfully disagree I do not have drag radials just ZR 18 tires. I have 373 rear end gears and a yank 3200 stall with a 2.5 STR. I go halfway down on the gas pedal (from a dead stop) I go from “farfetnugen” to “fukenmoven” 😊
