What kind of locker is this?
Not a locker. That is a clutch type diff. If it is making noises around turns, either you have bad spider gears or side gears, or the clutch packs are shot. In either case, it would need a rebuild.
What's up w/ the rust on the ring gear? I assume you bought this used (after being stored dry for some time) and you discovered it was making noises after this shot was taken?

it does not look like the Yukon clutch type on the strange website. This one has bolts on the non Ring gear side. I was told it needed more friction modifier but I haven’t tried yet.
