My next idea was to adapt the MWC 2 piece arm onto the QP unit but in the end I just gave up. Honestly that's what QP should do is scrap the TA mount bracket and build their own torque arm for that rear end

I dont remember even seeing that as an option to select for the drain/fill plug.
Ive been back and forth between a 12bolt or 9" of all kinds of flavors. Even considered the Hawks 8.8. The rearends all seem to sky rocket when ypu start needing a rearend to handle 800+ hp setups with turbos. Stange and Mosers are nice pices but damn they get pricey fast! One was around $4500 and the average cost seemed to be around $3500. Came across the QP 9" and of all the rearend setups, it was the most affordable that can handle Street strip duty, and relatively straight forward bolt on. I did not realize that they have a weird way of mounting the torque arm compared to even of 9" ford axles.
Box is a little beat up but not QP or Ticks fault. Who ever shipped it kinda beat it up
Housing looks good. I got some painting to do lol
Its alot smaller than i though it was gonna be. It does have the fill and drain though, so who ever asked before, there you go lol
On my bench so i can look at it
Brake cables
All the random bits lol
Center sextion shipped inna separate box
It came in a bucket, so i have a new 5gal bucket lol
Stange center
Gasket

Axle tubes are axle tubing lol new seals waiting for the axle to come in so i can install them properly.
Did you go with tapered bearings or sealed ball bearings on the axles??
I believe i ordered the sealed bearings.
New clean axles. Wheel studs thread my standard gm lugnut so good there.
Took a sec to under stand what i was looking at here lol. Im use to gm c clip axles so I needed to read up alittle on these pressfit axles.
Thats a thick *** boi! 😆 35 splines and i test slipped them in the center section.
