9" or 12 Bolt for my application?
A 12 bolt will probably be a bit easier to swap in and is lighter.
I have a 9". I got it used and it's a leaky ****. I need to fill it with gear oil about every 2 months. I love the fact that I can do 5000rpm clutch dumps at the track (and it's damn fun too) with little worry, but in retrospect, I would have just gotten a Strange 12 bolt (Moser usually doesn't do a good job setting up the gears from the factory).
Either way, 12bolt or 9 inch, spring the $$$ for a new one.
PS. If you're lazy like me, get the brake backing plates already installed on the rear.

Get at least 31 spline axles, but 33 would be better.

But, you only got one guy's opinion [mine]. Don't hesitate to ask around some more.
Also, tell the sponsor what your wants are, and they'll pair you up with your needs.
Good luck!
I went from 4.10 to 3.73 with my 382 stroker and I'm really glad I did!

" I agree that 4.10s is the best gear for your current setup. But if you intend to use that 150 shot on the street with street tires, traction could become a major issue.
When my engine was bone stock (299rwhp/312rwtq) and I had 4.10s, it was almost impossible for me to floor it in 1st without breaking traction, even with 275/40zr17 (SZ50).

I've heard that Nitto's have a bit less traction but will last longer than the BFG's.

).I've never done a 150 shot out of the hole, so I can't render any advice there.
Of the two drag radials (3 if you include the elusive Mickey Thompsons), the Nittos are more streetable than the BFG's. The Nittos will last longer, have better wet weather traction, and have stiffer sidewalls. I've had both and I'm using BFGs right now which I find to be stickier at the track.
