launching gently on 10 bolt My car is out of commision for now, but on wedsday i am going to the track with my buddy on wedsday. He has the stock 10 bolt with 3.42 gears, car is an m6. Car is a 98 ws6. His car is a full bolt-on car with a small cam. Probably running aroung 370-380 rwhp.
My question is, if he launches gently, will his rear survive? What rpm should he launch at? I dont know what kind of tires he has, but they are street tires. What rpm is it ok for him to go WOT, keeping in mind the rear must survive. He doesnt want to break his rear, well, at least not for a few months. Thanks

i would slip the clutch and then peddle into it b4 putting it on the floor. i have a stalled A4 and blew the rear with one launch
