It says right in the topic Extreme Chassis. He is based in Texas somewhere and really takes forever to build them, I would wait until there is a better alternative or go witha 9 in or 12 bolt from moser, currie, etc... An 8.8 will pretty much hold anything you can throw at it. We have quite a few turbo powered 7-8-9 sec stangs that still use the stock 8.8 here in Alb.

Hope this helps

from everything i've read the 8.8 will work when modified but.... you need to find someone that can do quality work in a reasonable amount of time

The 8.8 will work fine, it's a quality piece that can handle 600+rwhp and launching on slicks. The difficult part though is getting one made in a reasonable amount of time, the current wait as steelsnow can attest is 16 weeks and counting. It may be 20 weeks before he finally sees his rear end, with a promise time of 4-5 weeks btw.

You can order a Moser or Strange 12 bolt or 9" and have it in less than a month for another $500 or you can buy just a housing from them and build your own and get it within a couple of weeks.
