rear wheel stud question
rear wheel stud question i need to replace a rear wheel stud on my 99z. just wonding how big of a project it is before i get involved in it. do you need to pull the axle? thanks

no need to yank axles as there is a hole in the backing plate you can shoot the new stud in,it's a simple job,have fun
it seemed as if you could. i had to remove the abs sensor to install the new stud. also had to grind a flat spot on the head of the stud to clear something..cant remember, was a long time ago. i guess try it...itll only take a few minutes to find out.
I know this is old, but this is the same question i have. I am about to grind calipers and put on prosars, and i need to know if its posible to put in longer studs for the prostars without removing the axels.
