New at this .. Need some help

New at this .. Need some help I used to have a 98 3.8L Firebird, but swapped motors to the LS1. Mostly for the power of course, but now I am starting to look into more things and needed some opinions.
I am planning on getting the new TSP 233/239 cam that is talked about on here real soon. Along with that an LS6 intake, and cutout. Now, I was wondering about the gear that would be best for this cam and setup?
I have an M6 now with Hooker headers, Magnaflow exhaust, Lid, and still running the stock 10 bolt. I drive the car every day and do a little racing on the streets and at the track. Not real big into it ... YET
Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance ..
