4:10 problems

4:10 problems i just got my car back after having some 4:10's put in. starting at about 3rd gear on this whine comes from them and it sounds like a friggn tornado siren you cant even hold a conversation in my car 
thats how loud it is and when you let off the gas it like a choppy whine even in neutral when your rolling is there any suggestions what might be wrong with this

pinion depth or back lash is off take it back
I had the same prob when I installed 4.10's on my truck. Turns out the pinion was to deep. Take it back.

i am taking to a guy that puts rear end gears in for some of my friends drag cars i will keep u posted
