12 bolt to 9 inch??

Ok I was thinking of helping a friend out and selling him my 12 bolt 4channel with all options and installing it for him in trade (I will pay for any major options. He is probably looking at $2000 installed) for a 9 inch with a spool and no abs (since it doesn't work with huge rear tires anyhow) and maybe going from 4.11's to 3.90's for the trap speeds.

Just looking for opinions. Will I loose any ET? should I get aluminum spool? aluminum center maybe? Or all/any of the other light weight options? I still drive this on weekends and on 200-300 mile track trips (60mph the whole way but I'll get there)
