gears I have a 98 z, and I'm wanting to get down into the 12s with it.. Right now it runs a 13.2 @103.. I was wondering if putting 4:10s in it will help , and if it will what all do I have to have.... If someone could let me know I would appreciate it ..
What mods do you currently have? Maybe some other bolt ons will help you break the 12's. Gears are kinda a pain in the butt to work with especially if you're doing them on your own as I've been realizing the past few weeks. But to answer your question, the 4.10's will help you get in the 12's. If you get any type of traction on the launch though, you can kiss something in the drivetrain goodbye.

reply. My 98 z was an ex FBI car, so it has some suspension work done to it.. As far as the motor goes it is all stock ... The car is a hard top car. iT has a lowered factory stance.. It also upgraded exhaust....
