Wow you guys are having good luck with that posi. I gave up after breaking 3 of them from 2000-03 running low 14's lol

i know that most of the junkyard examples are wasted and if you have the original 9 bolt under your car and its never been gone thru it will most likely explode i got mine from a t/a and did a full rebuild w a few tricks and cant seem to hurt it like most other axles if they are build right and w the right parts they are pretty strong i built mine w very tight tolerances and keep up on maintenance and shimmed the posi unit welded the axle tubes to the center section ive done 4 other 9 bolts for freinds and none of them has failed even under extreme use
